ALL ABOUT COWS

Ever see a purple cow?  I remember my mother reciting the funny little verse that was written in 1895.  It ends with "I'd rather see than be one." Fred Meijer had a purple cow when he was a lad down on the farm.  I see her happy face when I dip into a carton of my favorite Meijer Purple Cow Ice Cream.
