OK, I do not speak of the great philosophical question about our reason for being alive. That's too heavy. I just want to know why we blog and get on facebook. I blog because I like to see my own brilliant and clever words on the screen. It would be nice if somebody else likes it or even reads it. The odds are against it.
Now Facebook is a whole different thing. I do that to get reaction. You can't put anything on Facebook without getting comments. The reaction is sometimes not what you hoped for but that's life in the digital age. Take the heat or get out of the internet kitchen.
