Cotton Pickin' is a no-no
I just learned that the phrase "Outa your cotton pickin' mind" is considered racist and must not be used in today's diverse society. I'm glad I'm so old that I can use age, senility or plain old cantankerous curmudgeonliness to avoid keeping up with the the moment by moment additions to the list of what's politically incorrect. I wonder if Andy Rooney knows about this.

Say what you want, It is a free country and from what I heard last we still have freedom of speech and any way why do the put cotton in those asprin bottles if you can't pick them?
